    Denmark stocks higher at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 up 1.45% By Investing.com

    Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Healthcare and Chemicals sectors led shares higher.

    At the close in Copenhagen, the added 1.45% to hit a new 3-months high.

    The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Zealand Pharma A/S (), which rose 6.71% or 18.80 points to trade at 299.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Rockwool AS B () added 3.78% or 8.00 points to end at 209.00 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B () was up 3.39% or 10.90 points to 330.60 in late trade.

    The worst performers of the session were Tryg A/S (), which fell 1.03% or 1.60 points to trade at 153.40 at the close. Danske Bank A/S () declined 1.01% or 3.80 points to end at 371.20 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S () was down 0.97% or 1.80 points to 177.90.

    Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 72 to 44 and 20 ended unchanged.

    for August delivery was down 1.13% or 0.90 to $78.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, for delivery in September fell 1.37% or 1.16 to hit $83.57 a barrel, while the August contract fell 0.35% or 14.35 to trade at $4,055.35 a troy ounce.

    USD/DKK was down 0.16% to 6.53, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.48.
