Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Banking, Beverage and Transport sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares added 0.23%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were SMI (), which rose 4.77% or 287.00 points to trade at 6,299.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Marocaine pour le Commerce et l’Industrie Banque SA () added 4.61% or 27.00 points to end at 608.00 and Fenie Brossette () was up 4.09% or 10.95 points to 278.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Societe des Boissons du Maroc SA (), which fell 5.59% or 119.00 points to trade at 2,011.00 at the close. M2M Group () declined 4.00% or 15.00 points to end at 360.00 and Salafin () was down 3.36% or 14.95 points to 430.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 32 to 24 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in M2M Group (CSE:M2M) fell to 5-year lows; falling 4.00% or 15.00 to 360.00.
was up 3.31% or 2.79 to $87.13 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, rose 3.59% or 3.27 to hit $94.28 a barrel, while the rose 2.03% or 82.69 to trade at $4,159.09 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was unchanged 0.02% to 10.71, while USD/MAD unchanged 0.03% to 9.39.
