Intel’s latest earnings report showed big demand for central processing units, or CPUs, as companies rush to build out their artificial intelligence capabilities, sending its stock surging. The numbers led investors to scoop up shares of another major chipmaker: Advanced Micro Devices. AMD shares soared more than 12% on Friday as Wall Street analysts were caught off guard by Intel’s CPU performance — which they believe will translate to other big CPU makers.”We figured CPUs were the next big bottleneck, but Intel’s results indicate that is already translating to very significant upside,” D.A. Crowlands Heath Golf Club features nine holes, two swans and, at £950, one of the cheaper annual membership fees in London. In the coming years, it might instead have close to 1,300 homes, if a recent proposal to redevelop the course moves forward. The golf course and its 78 members have landed in the unlikely foreground of a citywide debate over housing and its chronic undersupply. As the UK’s Labour government struggles to meet its election promises to deliver homes, some are pointing to underused golf courses as a means of helping achieve that goal. Housebuilding is proceeding at sclerotic…

In his $134 billion lawsuit, Musk claimed that OpenAI, Altman and the company’s president, Greg Brockman, reneged on a vow they made to keep the artificial intelligence lab a nonprofit in perpetuity. OpenAI has since restructured so that it can operate a for-profit subsidiary, and it’s now valued at over $850 billion. Musk and Altman were once close friends, and were…

But where money does that come from? … SpaceX expects more than 90 percent of that market, or $26.5 trillion, to stem from the AI sector. The vast majority of that, $22.7 trillion, could come from AI for businesses. The company is moving ahead with an IPO expected this summer targeting a valuation of roughly $1.75 trillion and seeking to raise about $75 billion, which would make it the largest initial public offering in history. “We believe we have identified the largest actionable total addressable market in human history,” according to the filing. Falcon boosters have now landed 600 times.…
